Zone Expansion Project

What is the Installer?

STALKERSOUP is a managed mega-mod for Shadow of Chernobyl by GSC GameWorld that uses a different approach to coding and code management.

It started in April of 2010 and has grown to include: most of Naradnaya Solyanka, The Collector Treasure Hunt, Arena Expansion, many utilities and of course new Dynamic Content by TecnoBacon.

The idea is to give players a versatile STABLE game while allowing mod makers to focus on enhancements and additions and NOT FIXES!

Imagine all the Zone has to offer, all in one place, ready to be explored...
Stop imagining and join the fun!
From Cordon to the Jupiter Underground, across to Dead City and through the Hospital...
Maybe some time in the swamp or maybe the Labyrinth, there are also the forests or maybe you prefer Limansk or Pripyat or ...
You have a lot to choose from and on top of that...
The most versatile game ever:
-TB3D_Modders.script - a wealth of options
-ShaderSettings.txt - super easy shader options
-IN GAME Advanced Options menu
-and many optional downloads.

Sure it is big, approximately 15gig of disk space and growing but with over 230,000 objects and counting it needs a little space.

May still be a BETA but it still rocks so what are you wating for...

ZEP - Zone Expansion Project Global Map for Release 109940 (Feb 22, 2014)

Final layout over a blank background to easily see the positions of the 39 surface levels. 53 levels in all!

Placement was made in an attempt to maintain the original STALKER as much as possible. The red areas show the impassable areas while the Brain Scorcher in the Radar is still active. The generators in the Hospital, Generators and NPP 2 were being used to amplify the signal to cover more of the north-west. Once the Brain Scorcher is deactivated then the generators become harmless and their beams focus directly upward.

Blowouts and Hell Hour become weaker the further you are from the NPP which is the source of these emissions. The types of creatures, anomalies and artifacts is also effected by the levels distance from the NPP.

Above shows the 39 surface levels out of 53 total levels.

New level changer paths shown in yellow.
